A couple of days with the Parsons family

One of the highlights of our American road trip, besides the wide open wild spaces, was getting to visit our friends who live there. Those good people made the long stretches of endless flat roads worth it.  We first met the Parsons in Belfast when we attended one of their workshops, we became friends and in 2015 they photographed our wedding in England. We had the pleasure of being warmly welcomed to their home in Kansas City when we crossed the USA in our VW bus.

We couldn’t resist making a special trip to see them as the stories we share always make us feel a bit more enlightened. We are grateful for the two days spent together, chatting about camping and roadtrips, playing with their youngest who is just made of energy and magic, and absorbing all their knowledge about Colorado. We were shooting on film most of the time, using Kodak Portra 400, developed by the awesome Canadian Film Lab.
