Straight after our wedding in June we went to Cornwall for a minimoon, our first camping roadtrip with Daisy. We still have plans for a big honeymoon but more about that later … 

Our first stop was a picturesque clifftop campsite in Porthcurno village, with sea views and a short walking distance to beautiful empty beaches. Daisy being Daisy decided to not start again after we rolled in to the campsite and stopped to ask if they have any free pitches, lucky for us they did and so she had to be pushed by friendly owners to the nearest pitch. In a true owning an old VW fashion Michael spent the next morning investigating what she needs to start again. Luckily all was sorted quickly and we were on our way to explore Cornwall.

We visited St Ives, Falmouth and Padstow. This was our first camping trip in Daisy and we quickly started learning what we need to spend longer periods of time in her and live comfortably. The trip started a long (and pricey) journey to completely changing her interior to meet our needs.  We’ll keep you updated on our progress so far, with more details and images of the changes.
